I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a cruise line offer a circumnavigation of Australia cruise. In January, 2011, Silversea is doing just that, with a 30-day cruise, roundtrip from Sydney. Silver Shadow’s itinerary will call on Brisbane, Whitsunday Islands, Great Barrier Reef, Port Douglas, Cooktown, Darwin, Broome, Exmouth, Perth, Albany, Port Lincoln, Adelaide, Geelong, Melbourne and Hobart.

I had the opportunity to sail on luxury cruise line Silversea Cruises a couple of years ago in the Baltic and I had ooked forward to introducing it to my husband. I think he said it best … I never want to sail on those “other cruise lines” again. He was spoiled and loved it! The ship was lovely with roomy…keep reading
