European river cruises have become all the rage. While several ocean going cruise lines have struggled to fill up staterooms this year, the growing number of European river cruises have been selling out at a pretty fast clip. The slower, relaxed pace of a river cruise, combined with the luxurious all-inclusive amenities some of the newest river cruise ships offer,…keep reading

One of the engaging things about cruise vacations is cruise lines are always innovating. Each cruise line strives to introduce something new to the experience, and often a new idea is quickly adapted by other lines. One area of interest to lines is minimizing the time it takes to check for a cruise on day of sailing, and providing guests…keep reading

Many travelers aspire to sample what the best luxury cruise ships offer, but sometimes getting on a long plane ride overseas to do so is just not that appealing. Voted ‘World’s Best’ more than any other resort, hotel or cruise line in history, Crystal Cruises is the only luxury cruise line this year to offer round-trip cruises from Los Angeles to western Mexico’s…keep reading

The name of the game with luxury cruises in 2010 has been 2-for-1 pricing, and it’s certainly working as luxury cruises are flying off the shelves. Smart consumers are taking advantage of these great deals, because the best prices are in play for those that book early. Plus, on most luxury cruises we offer additional amenities and bonus value, making…keep reading

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a cruise line offer a circumnavigation of Australia cruise. In January, 2011, Silversea is doing just that, with a 30-day cruise, roundtrip from Sydney. Silver Shadow’s itinerary will call on Brisbane, Whitsunday Islands, Great Barrier Reef, Port Douglas, Cooktown, Darwin, Broome, Exmouth, Perth, Albany, Port Lincoln, Adelaide, Geelong, Melbourne and Hobart.
Presently, only Orion Expeditions…keep reading

I had the opportunity to sail on luxury cruise line Silversea Cruises a couple of years ago in the Baltic and I had ooked forward to introducing it to my husband. I think he said it best … I never want to sail on those “other cruise lines” again. He was spoiled and loved it! The ship was lovely with roomy…keep reading

For the first time ever, Disney Cruise Line will offer Alaska cruise itineraries out of Vancouver and Mexican Riviera cruise itineraries out of Los Angeles. But you still have to wait awhile – the action happens in 2011. This is exciting news for Disney fans that have been waiting for more diverse offerings from the line.
While our clients that have cruised on DCL have found…keep reading

Regent is a luxury cruise line that, in addition to including airfare and all onboard beverages in the price, started to promote two-for-one pricing and including free shore excursions this year, making it an all-inclusive cruise line. My clients who got back from their third Regent Seven Seas Cruise did not enjoy their value-loaded last cruise nearly as much as…keep reading

As Windstar Cruises is truly 180 Degrees from Ordinary, it’s fun for me to give you a “ship” update on their fitness at sea programs. Each of Windstar’s ships has a fitness center, as well as the WindSpa Salon. Each of the fitness centers has True Fitness equipment including elipticals; upright bikes; treadmills; weight machines; tv’s for watching programs. During my…keep reading
