I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a cruise line offer a circumnavigation of Australia cruise. In January, 2011, Silversea is doing just that, with a 30-day cruise, roundtrip from Sydney. Silver Shadow’s itinerary will call on Brisbane, Whitsunday Islands, Great Barrier Reef, Port Douglas, Cooktown, Darwin, Broome, Exmouth, Perth, Albany, Port Lincoln, Adelaide, Geelong, Melbourne and Hobart.

On this last Sunday, Feb. 28th, I had the opportunity to see the totally refurbished and “like-new” Crystal Symphony.
